Gradings are split into two categories:
Coloured tip gradings (Held Week 5 of every term)
Coloured belt gradings (Held week 10 of every term)
To successfully pass a coloured tip grading, students must correctly execute at least 75% of the required material for their level. Any skills, techniques, or combinations that are not demonstrated correctly will not be marked as incomplete and will be carried over to the next grading, allowing students to refine and improve them before reassessment.
To Successfully pass a coloured belt grading, students must execute a fight choreography (Learnt between week 5 and 9 of every term) in class while being filmed by a professional camera. If successful, the video will be professionally edited, colour graded and given to the student along with their new belt.
